rally
Many good reasons to come with us in 2007 !
- 7 race days in the most beautiful desert of the world.
- only one week to be taken from work (from Friday, Sept 28th. to Monday, Oct 08th), only our Rally has this easy schedule!
- ours is the longest rally, after the Dakar; The total length was 2950 km with only 383 km of transfers in 2006, no other rally can do better !
- the selective sectors of 2006 Pharaons were longer than half of 2007’s Dakar race.
- compared to the Dakar, ours is the most similar rally for terrains, type of sand and dunes formation.
- we had the cheapest leg cost in 2006 from € 628 to € 966 each stage, all included, no other rally can do better!
- the Pharaons ICCR is simple to organize for a private pilot:
- vehicles embarkation doesn’t need the pilot presence, as a courier can do it having all needed documents ready, ..actually the same person can complete all procedures for many vehicles
- same simple procedure is applied for vehicles re-collection
- all customs procedures are done by Jvd staff, nothing else left for pilots, except for the carried items list that has to be sent to us
- the 2007 first period cost is 10% lower than 2006
- second and third period cost are exactly the same of 2006
- motor bikers will find their bikes, as usual, directly at the hotel in Cairo, with no formalities other than be at the morning administrative and technical verifications in hotel.
- same procedure at the end of the rally : no transfer, no paperwork, bikes are locked into containers directly from the hotel and…pilots can get back to the swimming pool.
- our organization is made by passionate people, always efficient, open and smiling
- TRAVCO efficiency, the biggest Egyptian Tour Operator, for bivouacs (with showers, hot meals, cool drinks, music and traditions…), for air ticketing and ready to fulfill all your expectations.
- all feasible safety with Iritrack, GPS and Sentinel devices, the doctors’ team with 20 docs, 2 helicopters, 6 well equipped off-road ambulances, 1 hospital truck ready for all surgeries, and the logistic support of EuropAssistance.
- open option for all to finish the race, with maybe penalties but no exclusion
- an always different track traced by Jacky Ickx, who has more than 25 years desert experience along with his great pilot career
- a more sandy track, more committing, but more fun
- an organization truck with boxes for all bikers that have no assistance, equipped with light, air motor, work plan, with possibility to carry Dakar type boxes and lots of tyres
- an air conditioned bus follows each stage for all mechanics without own vehicle
- new, more outstanding bivouacs
- only one verifications day before the start
- one quiet day off in order to take cars and trucks to Alexandria harbor at the end of the race
- possibility for all to take part at the prize giving ceremony
- rally start and finish stays in an exclusive location, the Giza Sphinx
- friendliness of a small rally, where professionals side dinner with amateurs, where help and support still exist
- a well equipped gift shop, to get souvenirs to family
- quite many challenges as SAMAR. TOUQUET, ELF …
- 95 octane gasoline at the bivouacs and along selective sectors; For those who want Avgas, they should individually order it within July when price is definite
